Do you ever find yourself tossing and turning at night, unable to relax even when you’ve tried everything? We often do all the right things, from cutting caffeine to adjusting the room temperature, yet the more we chase sleep, the further it seems to slip away.
In this monthly teaching, Mingyur Rinpoche addresses this common struggle and the “monkey mind” that feeds our restlessness. He explains that often the biggest obstacle to sleeping is our intense craving for it. He shares a simple body-relaxation practice to help us let go of the struggle, allowing us to find ease and genuine restfulness for the body and mind.
