Meditating in Everyday Life

In this video, Mingyur Rinpoche provides a range of examples of meditation in daily life. From being aware of bodily sensations while showering to using interactions with co-workers. We can be aware at any moment, regardless of the situation. Or as Mingyur Rinpoche says, “Anytime, anywhere — short times, many times.”

Reflection Question

  • Are there activities in your daily life during which being aware comes easily? Are there others during which it is more difficult? If so, please explain any differences that you see in these two types of experience – why is being aware in certain situations easier than others?

If you found this video helpful, please consider making a donation to Mingyur Rinpoche’s organization Tergar. Tergar’s mission is to make the ancient practice of meditation accessible to the modern world.
